NEAT honored by Denver Foundation
July 2011
On July 28, 2011, the Denver Foundation presented the Minoru Yasui Community Volunteer Award to NEAT's President, Liz Cohen.  Ms. Cohen shared the Minoru Yasui award with the NEAT Board members and founders.  The award included a grant of $2000 toward the NEAT project.

NEATball 2009
 
Walk To School Day 2009
100 students from Evergreen Middle School and Bergen Meadow Elementary joines 2300 schools across the country to participate in International Walk To School Day in October 2009.  NEAT arranged crossing guards and prizes for participants.

2008

NEATball 2008 was a huge success.  With over 50 donors from the community and 120 attendees, NEAT supporters dances the night away to the tunes of Double Parked.  Thanks to all of you for the great night!
Walk To School Week 2007
In October 2007, NEAT & Bicycle Colorado teamed up to host Evergreen's first event to promote walking and biking to school.  The event was part of the Safe Routes to School grant program of the three schools on the NEAT Trail.

Walkathon 2006
Cub Scout Pack 888 led the way in the NEAT Walkathon 2006.  The walkathon was a celebration of the completion of the first piece of the NEAT Trail in October 2006.

Safety Fair 2005

NEAT kicked off its campaign to build trails in Evergreen at the EFR Safety Fair in 2005.
