NEAT Continues to Form Partnerships to Fund the Last Piece of the NEAT TrailThis Fall, NEAT will continue to work with its partners, including Jefferson County and Evergreen Park & Rec District, to submit new grant applications for funding the last piece of the NEAT Trail. Known as the NEAT Valley Trail, this 0.6-mile trail section will connect to the rest of the NEAT Trail at Bergen Village, and move up Sugarbush Drive to Bergen Valley Elementary. Parent and student surveys conducted at Bergen Valley Elementary in 2010 demonstrated the pressing need and desire to complete this last piece and missing link of the NEAT Trail.
